Nicole Schoen

Nicole Schoen is an Actor, Model, emerging screen Producer, Casting and Production Assistant based in Adelaide, South Australia.

She has trained with Kim Krejus and Iain Sinclair of 16th Street. And has trained with professional actors Adrian Barnes, Rob MacPherson, Jamie Harding, Don Kountouris, and Angie Christophel, as well as with Casting Directors Ally Reynolds, and Micaeley Gibson.

Nicole’s debut screen role was Ruby in Ben Golotta’s short film ‘Lean’ (2022) with Harry Greenwood and Nicholas Hope. She has worked with Flinders’ University Film Graduate Nicholas Bourlotos (2023) and co-starred in his short film ‘MAID’ (2022). She appears in two of Richard Coburn’s Art films ‘Future Commissioners’ for MOD. Exhibition space, and ‘Anomalous’ currently and exclusively showing at ILA. Nicole participated in the Adelaide 48 Hour Film Project and appears as Shelley in the short film ‘Quirky Turkey’ (2023) directed by Kirk Cameron and DOP Kris Jenkinson.

Working behind the scenes, Nicole has worked as a Casting Assistant (SA) for 'Speedway' (2022) starring Essie Randles and Davida McKenzie. She worked on ‘First Day’ Season 2 (2021) and ‘Firebite’ (2022-) as an Extras Coordinator Assistant, and on ‘Embrace Kids’ (2022) as the Casting Coordinator– she also appears as a ‘Social Media Influencer’ in the documentary film.

In 2023, Nicole’s interest in screen producing led her to shadow and work with Producer Adam Camporeale (Drive Thru Films) on two short films: ‘Blame the Rabbit’ written and directed by Elena Carapetis and Produced by Lisa Scott, and ‘Future Eaters’ (2023) written and directed by Gemma Salomon.

In late 2023, Nicole worked as an Extras Coordinator Assistant (SA) on the Netflix TV Series ‘Desert King’. Currently, she is working with Ashleigh Knott (Producer) and Kavitha Anandasivam (Director/Writer) on ‘Boarhead’, and on a Documentary (TV Series) as a Production Assistant at Closer Productions.

She is also an amateur Ballroom dancer, and you will find her competing in Pro-Am Adult Open 5 Dance Standard with Alexander Litvinov at ‘Outside Change Cup’ in Melbourne, Australia in early June 2024!
